| VBC Anniversary Pairs Competition |
| Format |
| This event celebrates the anniversary of the opening of the club in 2009. |
| It takes the form of a one-day pairs competition, to which all the
other bowls clubs in the region are invited to send entries. There is a trophy, which is engraved with the winners' names and is retained at Valverde, and cash prizes and smaller individual trophies for the top few pairs. |
| The 2018 event was held on Sunday 30th October 2018 . The winners were Jack Romano & Paul Rawlings, with Mandy & Brian Fitzgibbon in second place. |
